Special nights

Friday, February 15

It's our regular open stage at the Innis College Café. Just raise your hand and we will pass the talking stick to you! Bob Sherman will host.

The Talking Stick, Part 1: International Women's Day

This is the first of two The Talking Stick evenings, with stories honouring International Women’s Day. Instead of the usual open mic, tonight we pass the talking stick to a carefully curated showcase of storytellers. This is our contribution to Storyfire, independently produced community presentations which will light the storytelling fire across the city and kick off the 2019 Toronto Storytelling Festival.

The Talking Stick, Part 2

This is the second of two The Talking Stick evenings. Instead of the usual open mic, tonight we pass the talking stick to a carefully curated showcase of storytellers. Come hear our best-loved stories, told by tellers who have honed their skills as listeners and tellers, week by week, all year long.

1001 Friday Nights at the Festival

This is the night of our annual absence from our usual location at Innis College. Instead of having our regular open stage, we will host a line-up of international storytellers who are here for the 2019 Toronto Storytelling Festival. We'll be at Artscape Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie Street, Toronto. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 advance / $25 door. To buy advance tickets, click here. Donna Dudinsky will host.
